Pro Tools LE or Cubase on a MacBook Pro?
I have seen sooo many reviews found about this. Many people say that Cubase is better, but now he left Digidesign Mbox 2 Pro FireWire platform can use a Pro Tools LE. And the new Mbox can sample at 96k. I would like to record some MIDI stuff, I would record some .. microphones as pianos, guitars, vocals, whatever with the microphones and also through digital audio. I would like greater flexibility in treble and bass, and basically just want the best sound you can possibly get. A very important factor, however, is that it should work pretty easy not to cause headaches in a new MacBook Pro (As with 4GB of RAM and a 2.4GHz processor) Now, money is not an issue and I will not feel constrained by the price. Thanks, thanks, thanks, thanks. I really hope to get some good answers.
Pro Tools is limited by the audio interface you are using (you must use an interface Digidesign him). The M-box is great for home studio, however, the analog to digital converters are as nice as some of the other options out there. Interfaces better sound are Pro Tools HD interfaces and cost a ton of money. Honestly, I have not used Cubase for years. I used Digital Performer and Ableton Live. Since you're on a Mac, you may want to see in Logic Audio. This gives you the flexibility to choose whatever you want to use interface and stability of Logic. Besides, I do not know if Cubase or Pro Tools has been recoded as a Universal Binary for Intel Macs. I know that logic and Ableton is UB, so it can not go wrong there. For interfaces, ULN/2…it definitely check out the Metric Halo is the best bang for the ball out there …
