Polynomials factoring? I need help plz?

It is my task and I do not understand. The instructions in my textbook says "factor each polynomial completely 'this is a problem in my book. please explain step by step so you can use the method in my other problems in my homework. thank you very much y ^ 2 +8 and 16 and also this type also 25x ^ 2.9

Factoring involves a bit of thought. for a quadratic function, first consider the factors of the coefficient of x ^ 2 and the constant. In this case, 1 and 16. so the factors: 1 to 1 16 – 1,2,4,8,16 Then use this process: randomly choose a pair of factors that multiply to equal weighting.
