Play Violin Dvd

Is it possible to learn to play the violin without hands on instruction?

I know it will be better if I had down to an instructor, but all I am asking is if it's all we can to learn from a book, DVD or online course? I have a very nice student violin that has been extensively reviewed by the store local music, and I'm very anxious to begin to terrorize everyone in my home with my practice sessions. guitar (just kidding) I have played for over 20 years, but I feel this little violin will be an entirely different animal! The problem is that only one person within a radius of 60 miles of us who teaches violin, and is reserved for students with strong and have nothing more until next spring. (That, and that is known to have a better relationship with children than adults.)

Any instrument that has played well comes from love of the instrument. My son learned the harp playing of all things for himself when he was 10. Yes biker same child is now 24. To me an instrument of any kind is like hugging a good friend or feel comfortable in a familiar chair. If you really love what you are trying to achieve … YOU CAN DO. Personally, I think the teachers are excellent, but I also believe that even the best teacher can not teach what is not in the person (you know a little bit like Karate). If you reallly like the sound and feel of the violin can learn to play by yourself. Or if you feel comfortable with it in his arms sound like you're trying to attract other partners in the fence soctch like pink. But if you succeed or do not teach their children in the process to treat and also does not work if they are taught that everyone must accept limits. Much success in both directions. I personally loved playing and it does my daughter … My personal opinion .. a house can not have too much music, too many books, too much love, and never can have too much laughter. LTL Alda

“Wonderful weather for April!” Yes, it certainty was wonderful. I fully agreed with the sentiment expressed at different periods of the day by different members of my family; but I did not follow their example and seek enjoyment out-of-doors–pleasure in that balmy spring air. Trouble–the first trouble of my life–had laid her hand heavily upon me. The world felt disjointed and all upside-down; I…
